Repair Terms & Conditions

By using the site, the customer agrees to all of the following terms and conditions of the sale.

1.0 The terms set out in these Conditions of Repair (“Agreement”) shall apply to the service (“Service”) we provide to repair your graphics card, laptop, tablet and/or any accessories (“Device”) on the service booking.

1.1 Reference to “us”, “we” and “our” refer to ElectroFixIT and references to “you” and “your” are references to you (“Customer), the person addressed on this form.


1.2 All repairs come with a 60 day warranty.

1.3 Warranty only covers the same fault that was repaired. If the symptoms are found to be caused by a different fault, additional charges will be incurred.

1.4 Warranty for replaced screens covers failure due to manufacture defects, warranty does not cover cracked or failed LCD’s due to accidental damage.

1.5 Warranty on charger ports covers failure of the solder joints carried out as part of the repair. It does not cover damage to the port pins caused by a damaged plugs or excessive force.

1.6 Accidental damage, Misuse damage or our warranty stickers are tampered with then the warranty will become void and additional cost may be incurred.


1.7 We shall make reasonable efforts to repair your Device subject to the availability of any parts required and/or the terms of any relevant guarantee or warranty. We shall perform the Service using our utmost care and skill.

1.8 Any time estimate for completion of the service, which may be given to you, is an estimate only and does not form any obligation under the terms of this Agreement. We will aim to return your Device as soon as reasonably possible, however, any Board Level repairs (i.e. repairs to the logic board of the Device) may take at least 3-5 working days to be completed.

1.9 If we are unable to complete the repair for any reason, or the repair will incur further costs payable by you beyond that initially estimated by us, we will notify you immediately via telephone and/or email. If no fault is found on your Device or you do not accept our revised estimate, we will return your Device to you un-repaired and we reserve the right to charge you an inspection fee in accordance with our standard charges.

2.0 We shall be entitled to keep your Device until all charges payable have been paid. We may also charge an additional fee for storage of your Device if payment is not received within 28 days.
